A B C | "Bufo boreas"

It was approximately 23:30 on SR263 down by the Snake River (right around Windust State Park) that I met this fella on a rainy evening.
Not going to lie here, I’m kind of traumatized by the fact that I think I ran over one of his companions. I’ve never come across toads on a road before!
Bufo boreas is my best Google guess. I picked the toad up to check and see if it was a Columbia Spadefoot Toad, the only toad I know how to identify, and it wasn’t. So, “to the Googles” as the saying goes.
